Are you having a wedding cake? Will it be a traditional tiered fruit cake, or are you having something modern, maybe a cupcake tower?

Hi, we are having the same problem trying to decide what to go for.

At first we wanted cupcakes so each guest could have their own one. However, now we can't decide between a traditional tiered fruit cake so we can actually 'cut the cake' in the evening, or a stack of cheese like brie, goats cheese etc with grapes so we can use it as part of our buffet. Is anyone else having a cheese cake?

Help!!!! alt

this is just a suggestion but at my aunts wedding they had a three tired cake but each tier was different. the bottom was fruit, the middle sponge and the top chocolate so that everyone could have some.

i'm glad of that cos many poeple don't actually like fruit cake meaning that they will miss out on having some cake which is such a shame really.
