Hello and a warm welcome to The Wedding Community.
We are David and Kim Herbing and we have been married since 2007. We were inspired to create The Wedding Community during the planning of our own wedding. We found that there was not really any one website we could use to plan, organise and get ideas for our wedding all in one place.
Although planning our wedding was one of the most exciting things we have ever done it was also at times one of the most stressful. We had bridal party members located across the country and guests coming from all over...if only we had a way of connecting with them so we could organise things together.
The Wedding Community's social network provides an opportunity for all members of the wedding party to connect, share ideas and generally plan their big day together. No matter where they are in the world, everyone will be able to feel a part of the wedding.
The Wedding Community also has lots of handy planning tools, a facility that allows you to create your own website for your wedding, a team of wedding industry experts who provide regular articles for the site, a supplier directory and more to help you with your wedding preparations.
It is completely free to join, so register today to create your profile –

To Do List*
Keep track of all the important tasks you need to complete in the build up to your wedding. There are many pre-filled suggestions of tasks that you may need to think about and you can add and remove tasks as required.

Budget Planner*
The budget planner tool will help you control your spending by itemising what you need to purchase, calculating how much of your budget you have spent and how much you have left.

Guest List*
Create your guest list and keep track of who you have invited to your wedding, whether they will be attending and other useful information such as if any of your guests have any dietary requirements.

Table Planner*
Once you have completed your guest list you can then use the table planner tool to create your seating plan. The simple drag and drop facility allows you to easily arrange where you will seat your guests.

My Wedding Website*
Create your own website! Choose a design from a number of templates and then upload pictures and text to keep your guests up to date with the arrangements for your wedding. There is even an RSVP function that allows your guests to RSVP via your website, which will automatically update your guest list.
*Only available on bride/groom profiles
As a member of The Wedding Community you will also be able to contribute to discussions, send enquiries directly to suppliers and post photos and videos onto the site.
