Funk Up Your Wedding Theme with Print and Patterns

If you’d like to bring accents of colour into your wedding theme but want to keep your base colour concept quite simple say, just white, then using pattern and print is a great way to achieve this.

Popular Prints and Patterns

  • Polka dots
  • Stars
  • Floral chintz
  • Stripes
  • Hearts
  • Lace

Stationery

Not feeling too confident using pattern?  Introduce subtle or punchy touches with your invitations and wedding day stationery. If you’re a creative bride, collect swatches of printed fabric or wrapping paper and design your own place cards or table plan.

Bring your tables alive...

A splash of colour always freshens up a room and if you overlay your tables with a cute cloth you can get away with keeping your centrepieces quite simple.

Think about what you display your flowers in…

And if you’re having cupcakes, afternoon tea treats or canapés, display them in bright patterned cake stands or funky bowls…

Napkins and place settings don’t have to be boring…

Wear it with flair

Don’t feel that you have to limit pattern to your décor, be clever with it and tie it into your bridesmaids' dresses or groomsmen’s attire.

However you choose to do it, be brave - make a statement!
