Types of Wedding Transport

What is wedding transport? It can be anything from Shanks’s pony to a steam train! In all our nearly twenty years of providing wedding transport, we have either been involved with or provided transport of all types. Vintage, classic, American, French, in fact many nationalities. Of course, there are the American limousines but don’t forget the British ones, there are also Russian, German and many others available.

For your guests there are Vintage buses and coaches including the iconic red Routemaster. Horse and carriages from the beautiful open Landaus to the fabulous Victoria, or even the amazing Cinderella Pumpkin carriage that was seen on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, the combinations are endless.

Steam trains have been used to carry bride and groom as well as their guests. Hot air balloons, helicopters, executive jets, Del Boy’s famous yellow van, canal boats, speedboats, an amphibious car, the Batmobile, and even a Camel have all been used. The means of transport for a wedding be it for bride and groom or guests are endless. We were once asked to provide an elephant complete with mahout (driver) and a very ornate howdah (the saddle-like chair that is mounted on the elephant’s back - sometimes known as a houdah).

Wedding transport is only limited by your imagination. Whatever you want there will almost certainly be someone out there who can provide it - dare to be different.
