Top 10 Most Popular First Dance Songs for 2013
The first dance is the last formal part of the wedding day, but is of significant importance. Choosing your first dance song can be a difficult decision, however I’m sure you have made many other tricky decisions as you plan your big day.
With the widespread popularity of sites like YouTube, some couples have opted for the non-traditional and amusing first wedding dances that are choreographed and more up tempo than the traditional first dance songs. I remember witnessing a couple performing a karaoke version of Meatloaf’s ‘Dead Ringer For Love’; this was a highlight of my evening but very much a one off.
Currently the most popular first dance that is played at weddings so far in 2013 is Adele’s version of the Bob Dylan classic 'Make You Feel My Love'. Apparently this was the first dance song at Prince William’s and Kate Middleton’s wedding.
The ‘first dance’ song, in my opinion, should be very personal to you as a couple, and should signify something very important in your lives.
So, here’s what’s hot at weddings in the UK this year, the top 10 first dance songs for 2013; hopefully this will make your selection process easier.
