Stag Weekend Ideas for Summer 2012

Here are some of my recommendations for destinations and activities for a summer stag weekend in 2012...

Camp It Up

I am not talking about going on your stag do in drag or talking like Alan Carr, I am referring to getting back to basics, sitting around a camp fire and having a call with nature.

There are several ways to have a camping stag do, but the most fun I think is to include a bit of canoeing down a river. It’s very popular with our stag parties and totally different to just hitting the town and spending all your money on booze.

Become a Beach Bum

Bournemouth has become a very popular stag destination, and when you get down there you will see why.

Not only does Bournemouth offer some fantastic stag activities, the nightlife is awesome.

Activities on offer in the day include racing Rage Buggies, spinning out on Quads and chucking a whitey whilst Coasteering (a fantastic hangover cure).

Achtung Baby!

If you feel you need some schnitzel shenanigans whilst on your stag do, you cannot beat heading west to Berlin.

The Germans know a lot about beer and how to party, and there is no better place than the capital, Berlin.

Try out the Beer Bike, or have your very own Top Gear style challenge driving the old Berlin Banger, the Trabant.

At night there are plenty of Beer Houses to visit, and with a guide by your side you will visit the best places in this amazing city.

The Wicked Welsh

Whether you fancy a full-on activity crammed stag weekend or chilled days with wild nights, Wales has it covered.

Head to North Wales for amazing adrenalin style stag activities including White Water Rafting, Quad Biking, Canyoning and Mountain Biking, to name just a few.

Alternatively get your beer belly to Cardiff Bay, for the amazing clubs, banging bars, restaurants, and the friendly party atmosphere, which is unique to Wales.

Whatever you decide, I am sure you will have an immense stag weekend.
