2012 Wedding Hair Trends
Between now and your wedding day there is a lot of planning to do. From finding your venue, photographer and perfect wedding dress, to deciding on your hairstyle and make-up. Brides now look towards celebrities at red carpet award shows for inspiration and ideas, and thankfully for 2012, wedding hair trends are not in short supply.

The top wedding hair trends you will see in 2012 are all about updos - anything from big ballerina buns created high on the head, to chignons. If you prefer a soft, romantic look, then go for a relaxed hair updo, and for a glamorous updo, try a more structured look. Sparkle will be 'in' for hair accessories and flowers will be even bigger; fresh, silk, floral combs, the world’s your oyster. Why not add a tiara or headband encrusted with jewels to give that wow factor. This year we're also seeing the braid again, so maybe add a braid to your updo to give a modern take. Or why not style your hair into a loose fishtail, adding fresh flowers for a more formal look, or crystals to give an elegant look.

For brides who are looking for a retro style and love to wear their hair down, try Hollywood waves; this will look stunning with a headband made of fresh flowers. Or style your hair into finger waves and add a fabulous cage veil. This can also be achieved on a short bob.

Pony tails are also in. For a no fuss, simple but elegant hairdo, wear it pulled tight high on the crown, or for a relaxed look, loosen it. A side ponytail could be an option, adding just a few loose curls and then placing a single fresh flower.
When selecting your wedding hair style remember it has to be you. If you are a girl who loves your hair down, don't go for an updo; you won't feel comfortable and will regret it every time you look at your wedding photos.
