Using Props in Your Wedding Video

Wedding videos are all about catching the moment, but it's still worth doing a little bit of planning to make your wedding video stand out from the crowd. One way to encourage your guests to get involved in your wedding video and have a fun evening is to provide them with props. You can help create a really fun party atmosphere with a fancy dress box full of silly hats, oversized glasses and feather boas.

After a couple of glasses of Champagne, your guests are going to love playing with the props, which will make for a hilarious video! The props will also have the added benefit of making them feel a lot less self-conscious in front of the camera. Your slightly shy cousin will suddenly develop Russell Brand style confidence when he's wearing a wig and wielding a fake sword.

If you’re having a specific wedding theme, props can help out to keep the feeling of continuity throughout the wedding. For example, if you're having a Christmas wedding, why not give everyone Santa beards and Elves' hats as favours. A summer wedding could have a Midsummer Night's Dream theme, and you could provide fairy wings as a prop. The scope for wedding video inspiration is endless!
