Vintage or Modern Bridal Style?

Whether you are looking for a modern or vintage bridal style there are plenty of gorgeous wedding dresses and accessories to choose from.

For a really modern bridal look I would suggest teaming a shorter style wedding dress with a stylish fascinator or birdcage veil and chic sparkly accessories, or choosing a longer style dress with clean straight lines and asymmetrical detailing. If you are wearing a shorter style dress I would suggest also choosing some really great shoes. Freya Rose and Filippa Scott have some gorgeous contemporary styles.

For a vintage bridal look, I would consider longer, softer styles of wedding dresses that combine different fabrics in ivory or cream tones. I would also recommend wearing vintage jewellery. You may have a family heirloom that you can borrow for the day, but if not, companies such as Magpie Vintage make a selection of beautiful jewellery from original vintage pieces.

If you are choosing a veil I suggest opting for a silk tulle veil because they often come in creamier tones. For shoes, I would recommend either Emmy or Rachel Simpson shoes.
