Visiting Wedding Fairs
Wedding fairs are a great place to meet suppliers and see what is on offer for your wedding. Take time to visit a few around the area of your wedding venue so you can find local suppliers that offer what you want.
It is a great opportunity to meet several different areas of expertise in one day, which would normally take months of research. It also means you can talk to suppliers face-to-face and see examples of their work first hand.

Do take your time when booking a supplier at a wedding fair; you must still make sure they are right for you and your budget. Take a good look at the terms and conditions and what is included in the costs. Don’t get carried away by the excitement and book something you later regret.
You can find where local wedding fairs are happening by researching online, and this will save you driving around looking for banners or scouring the newspaper. There are a large number of local wedding fairs listed in the wedding fair section of The Wedding Community Blog.

Take time to look at the products and/or services on offer and be realistic about what you want to achieve. Finally, don’t forget to wear your comfortable shoes and take some water/snacks; it can be a long day.
