Choosing Your Groomswear Supplier

Given that I got married last year, I speak from experience when I say that in terms of groomswear, who you choose is as important as what you choose.

Throughout the whole planning of a wedding you can be a little overwhelmed by the choices on offer in all areas, not just your men’s clothing.  Which wedding photographer do you choose when they all look as good as each other?  Which bridal shop do you use as each of the two or three you like are as good as each other? Do you go with venue A or venue B?  These choices will determine whether the planning of your wedding is enjoyable or not.

So how do you choose?

I would say don’t be 100% affected by the price.  The more expensive something is doesn’t mean the better it will be, and just because something is less expensive doesn’t mean it will be inadequate.  I would say hone in on the person or the people that you are talking to. You could have found the perfect this or the best of that but you just can’t get on with the person or people in charge.

Why would you, for one of the biggest days of your life, put your trust in a person that just gives off a negative vibe?  During the planning of my wedding our choices were not always our first, but they were definitely the choices that made us feel the most comfortable.  You can then pay your deposit and leave the company or service that you have chosen to ‘do their thing’ and take the pressure of you.

In addition you will find that throughout the planning of your wedding other expenses or choices will crop up. I say go for it. It is easy to say no, but just make sure that when it comes to your big day you have everything you want and more. Why not? It is your wedding day after all.
