In my next 2 articles I have decided to give some recommendations of hair and beauty products I have come across over time, and have received insider knowledge of from having worked with other make-up artists. These are tried and tested and I hope you enjoy trying them out.

Here are 5 beauty products I would recommend.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I have said it before but I will happily say it again, this product ROCKS. For all you product junkies out there, this product is recommended in all the major beauty magazines. This cleanser is applied all over the face including the eyes, and can be gently swept off with a hot muslin cloth, making you feel like you are being pampered before you go to bed.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

This product is wonderful. It contains eucalyptus, cocoa butter and fine jojoba beads, and can be used as often as required to remove the dead skin cells and impurities that leave your skin looking lifeless and dull. It not only brightens up your skin but leaves it feeling silky smooth – brilliant!

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

This is a beautifully refreshing toner which just removes any excess cleanser and make-up, and refreshes the skin without being harsh on it.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Skin Protectant

This skin protectant is what all the celebs and make-up artists have in their bag at all times. It can be used on the lips, the elbows, hands, face and feet, and rehydrates those dry areas. There is a lip balm which has an SPF of 15. It’s a beauty must-have, especially on long-haul flights.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Recovery Complex

This cream can be used both day and night and reduces fine lines around the eyes. After 4 weeks of use you will notice a significant reduction in dullness, puffiness and fine lines.
