Top Wedding Trends - Wedding Entertainment Ideas
Wedding entertainment is now so much more than hiring a DJ for the evening and brides and grooms are thinking outside the box for memorable ways to occupy their guests…

Feature Photography
The days of over-bearing photographers taking over your entire reception for group shots are over and thanks to the wonders of reportage photography there is even more time to enjoy your reception. In fact, there are some fabulous ways of making your photos more entertaining on the big day.
Photo booths create an amusing focal point for your evening reception and are such a fun way to record those silly moments you might otherwise miss. You can hire one for a few hours at a time with Booth Nation. Have a dressing up basket full of props such as top hats, wigs and moustaches to play around with,or hang some gorgeous fabric to act as an eye-catching backdrop to have your photos taken in front of.

Gramophone Glamour
If you’re having a vintage themed wedding and want your evening entertainment to be in keeping with something other than a jazz band, then look no further than vintage gramophone DJs, The Shellac Sisters. What these girls don’t know about old 78 records, jiving and Lindy Hopping probably isn’t worth knowing. Dressed in gorgeous 1950’s attire, these ladies will arrive with their original 1920’s gramophones and stacks of records and get your guests up and dancing to their very own Shellac Shuffle!
Doin’ The Lambeth Walk
Everyone loves a good sing song and fortunately we don’t have to resort to cheesy karaoke to get what we want anymore! Underbling and Vow are a fabulous duo specializing in good old-fashioned Cockney Knees-Ups!

Lawn Games
If you’re having a spring or summer wedding where dry (if not sunny) weather is guaranteed then lawn games are a brilliant way to inject fun into your afternoon. Try croquet or giant Jenga for size, or if you’re feeling creative, how about an adult treasure hunt with a bottle of champagne for the prize?
