Top 10 Stag Do Locations
Have you ever noticed that the top 10 Stag Do Locations always slightly differ in the various media resources?
They may mention some of the same locations but never in the same order. I have been around the clock a few times and have had the privilege of visiting and partying in most of the cities stags love to visit, so I have decided to compile my own top 10 stag do locations list.
I have listed the locations alphabetically and not in order of preference as each location will suit a specific type of stag do as you will see when you read on.
- Bournemouth
7 Miles of beautiful white sand make Bournemouth one of three seaside resorts to make it into this list. There is a huge choice of extreme activities to take part in during the day and they will suit motor heads and shooting chaps alike. At night the place comes alive with many bars, clubs and restaurants filled with an atmosphere friendlier then a warm hug. - Bristol
In recent years Bristol has had a face-lift and now it is one of the best looking, clean cities in the UK. The nightlife is friendly and vibrant. The daytime activities are awesome and suit petrol heads down to the ground; popular activities include rage buggies, hovercrafts, quad bikes and indoor karts. - Edinburgh
The capital party city of Scotland. Edinburgh has decent activities but if you are really daring drive for an hour to the highlands for the best white water rafting in the UK. Edinburgh is a brilliant night out and the city is filled with European and international tourists and loads of hen parties, making it the perfect place for a Scottish Stag Do. - Las Vegas
If you can splash the cash then Las Vegas, infamously know as Sin City, is one of the best stag do locations to visit; unless you have seen it, rent the film Hangover - enough said. - London
London is number one for nightlife and trends with bars, clubs, restaurants and pubs to suit every taste and age. Taking a Rickshaw Traditional Pub or Cocktail Tour of the West End is a fantastic and unique way to bar crawl. - Newcastle
There is something about Newcastle that attracts so many stag parties. Maybe it’s the northern lasses who go out and party in next to nothing no matter what the weather is doing, or the atmosphere, which can only be described as mad, erratic and fantastic. - Newquay
A surfer’s paradise. Believe it or not Newquay is one of the best places to surf in the world, with almost a guarantee of big North Atlantic rollers. Newquay also offers Coasteering and other first class adrenaline fuelled activities to keep you busy during the day. At night this little seaside town has kicking bars and clubs pumping out music to the wee hours. - North Wales
With amazing activities, North Wales is the place for some full on outdoor activities. Don’t expect lively bars and clubs, I’m not saying that you won’t have a good night out, it is just a completely different experience from the big cities and in my opinion better; maybe it’s because I am over 35! - Prague
A top stag party location that is a couple of hours by plane from the UK. It has unique activities not found in the UK, stacks of clubs and bars plus it is home to cheap beer, well at least it was. Recently prices have been creeping up to match many other European capital cities, but Prague is still a fantastic stag do destination. - Riga
Currently one of the cheapest places to party in Europe, pints are at most £1.50 and you can eat out for less than a tenner. The activities in Riga are second to none and include bobsleighing (winter & summer), snowmobile safaris, jet skiing, banger racing, tandem skydiving etc. The nightlife is wild and will leave you scarred, in a good way!
