Ideas for Zara Phillips' Wedding Dress
It is looking like Zara Phillips might choose an understated look for her wedding despite the fact that she is the Queen’s granddaughter. Both Zara and Mike’s choice of clothing and the way that they decided to announce their engagement would appear to indicate that they are less likely to go for a grand ceremony like William and Kate. Having said that they will certainly want to celebrate in style and I’m sure a big party will be on the cards!
In terms of what she will be wearing on her special day it is difficult to judge. It is unlikely that her association with Musto Clothing will have any part to play in the design of her wedding dress and although she is seen as one of the most fashionable royals, she doesn’t tend to go for any particular look or style when it comes to her more formal choice of clothing. In the past she has worn designs by Roberto Cavalli and Marchesa but again it is unlikely that that they will be involved in the design of her dress. I would really like to see her choosing something a little bit different, but her choice of dress will be dependent on several things including her choice of venue, and she will still be required to follow a certain amount of protocol because of her royal connections.
I think this Asymmetrical style dress by Caroline Atelier would be perfect for Zara. She has worn this style of dress before and it works really well with her athletic build.

Alternatively this beautiful jewel encrusted gown by Australian Designer Johanna Johnson really has the wow factor and would also show off her amazing figure. The plunging back may be a little bit too revealing for a royal wedding but she could always have the design altered slightly to make slightly less of a v.

In terms of accessories, like Kate she is likely to have a wealth of stunning jewels at her disposal, but she might be tempted to keep her accessories quite simple if she is going for an encrusted dress. A simple set of pearl or diamante earrings teamed with a gorgeous bracelet, or some stunning chandelier earrings paired with these beautiful starlet pins would ensure that she looked both elegant and understated on her wedding day.

Zara is also likely to choose a pair of designer shoes to wear, and since her sister-in-law’s choice of shoes for her day was a pair of Emmy’s, we think Zara should also get herself a pair of these gorgeous shoes.
