Bridal Accessory Ideas for the Royal Wedding

Everyone in the wedding industry is very excited about the Royal Wedding, we are all wondering what Kate Middleton will wear and what bridal accessories she will choose.

As we all know Kate is a young, modern woman with her own style, so she’ll be looking for the right balance of fashion and tradition which will see her take her place as the new style icon of the decade.

With her beautiful figure, I would love to see Kate in a vintage style, slim fitting dress with a puddle train so that she wears the dress and not the other way around.  A few designers who spring to mind would be Claire Pettibone, Alan Hannah, and Sassi Holford.

This Claire Pettibone dress is the stunning ‘Chrysanthemum’ which has a vintage floral design and silk ribbon detailing on the back. As this dress has a champagne colour it would look beautiful with some coloured accessories; a small necklace, some chandelier earrings and a stylish cuff.

This Alan Hannah Candice dress has a more traditional skirt with a fitted bodice, styled with a stylish short veil or fascinator and traditional pearl accessories it has Royalty written all over it.

Again a more traditional full skirt dress, this Alan Hannah Kimberley dress features stunning jewelled details and as you can see looks stunning with a tiara and heavy necklace.  An heirloom tiara would look wonderful with the detailing on the dress.

This Sassi Holford Sasha dress has the ultimate vintage style featuring lace and a heavily buttoned back.  I would style it with a diamante bracelet, a tiara and a long veil.

Although when it comes to sparkle Kate will have her pick of the best diamonds in the world, the good news is it won’t be difficult for us mere mortals to recreate whatever gorgeous look she goes for.
