Bridal Make-Up Trends 2011
No matter what the trend it is important to enhance your natural beauty. Don't try out a different look for your big day that is not going to give you confidence; your wedding day make-up should be a more polished version of you.
During 2011 lots of nude and natural make-up will be popular. On the catwalks big names such as Burberry, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs and many more have preferred this sophisticated no-nonsense, organic and not over worked look.

So what we are looking for is fresh fabulous skin which hides flaws and enhances your best qualities; this may be enhancing some beautifully shaped rosy lips or bringing out your gorgeous baby blues, but the rule girls is one asset not both.
Flawless Skin
The key is to prepare your skin with exfoliation, moisturising and a wonderful primer to even out the skin tone. Foundation should make your skin tone even not completely cover it, you don't want to look like you are wearing a mask! Instead it may be enough to just cover your T zone and be lighter towards the sides of your face and neck.
Concealer
Make sure you use a concealer which is at most only 1 shade lighter than your skin tone. You don't want to emphasise a flaw instead of covering it.

Blusher
A blusher can totally contour and warm the face, so choosing tones that will flatter you is essential. For a fresh look, smile and apply in a circular motion. If you have a rounded face use your brush to sweep in an upwards motion.
Bronzing slightly under the cheek will sculpt the face. Bronze, caramel, orange and chocolate tones are very popular.
Eyes
A natural/nude make-up requires very soft tones of eye shadow such as light pinks, light brown earth tones and blue/greys.
Lashes
Brown mascara will give you the ultimate in natural lashes, but I would always opt for your lashes standing out if the rest is very natural.
Lips
Go for matte lipstick for a natural look. There are many benefits to this as it will stay on longer and you will not be sticking to your husband!
