Start with the Wedding Dress

You've just got engaged, you are really excited that you are planning to get married in a year’s time but you have no idea where to begin. If you start with that all important wedding dress it will help you plan the rest of the day.

Your wedding dress can be a great starting point and inspiration for the wedding venue, invites, food and everything else, especially if you are going for a vintage inspired wedding.  If you opt for a 1940's style wedding dress it can be the start of a fab 40's tea party wedding theme, if you go for a 20's style dress you can then think about a great deco wedding venue, and even a good old 50's dance if that is the style of your dress.

I know when styling ladies for their big day the wedding dress always throws up both lots of ideas and questions.  Winter or summer wedding? Long or short dress? Colour or traditional? There are so many questions, but once you have decided on the dress you will be filled with an abundance of inspiration.

f you love 1920's style but your curves just won't forgive you, a 50's shape might be the perfect option and can quite easily be styled in a 20's way. There are many options and it is getting this all important bit right so you can then relax and the rest will fit in to place.

It can be really difficult knowing where to start and what to do first, but if you conquer the dress it might help with your ideas for everything else.
