Wedding Hair Trends - Braids

Wedding hair trends are changing all the time. A popular trend at the moment is incorporating braids into classic styles, and braids can also work to create Grecian and Medieval looks.

When used in highlighted hair you can get a great effect, with all the different shades of colour looking woven around the head. It can also be used to disguise any roots and tame any frizz, especially if you are getting married in the winter months when the rain can be prevalent.

There are lots of different types of braids, and you can use them differently on different people to tie together you and your bridal party both young and old. It is a brilliant idea for younger girls as they feel they are having something special like the bride, making them feel more grown up and at the same time keeping their hair out of their face and later on their dinner!

Ask your stylist to suggest some looks which will go with your vision, and it doesn't have to be your own hair either!  Hair pieces using natural hair can be added for texture or interest. Accessories can also be woven into the braids or just attached into the groove of the braid, as can fresh flowers, a look which can look very pretty and clever at the same time.

Happy braiding!
