Autumn Bridal Jewellery Trends

If you have chosen a traditional style wedding dress, look for bridal jewellery that is on-trend for current fashions to keep your look contemporary.  Here are our top trends to help you choose your bridal jewellery this autumn:

  • Autumn is the most inspirational season for colour. Look for clashing reds, burnt oranges, chocolates, camels and deep purples.  All of these colours are key for accessories this season and add warmth and depth to a cream or ivory dress.
  • Chunky, statement jewellery is very popular this season.  Go for one oversized piece, such as a collar-style necklace, a dramatic headdress, chandelier earrings or a bold cuff and keep other accessories to a minimum.
  • Vintage is again a huge trend, especially headbands worn flat to the head, on the side or across the forehead.  They work well with loose or structured hair, so talk to your hairdresser about the look you want.
  • Cocktail jewellery is big this season; catwalks have been featuring cocktail rings and bracelets worn over elegant vintage gloves.
  • Brooches are big news.  Add one or a cluster of brooches to your dress at your waist, hip or shoulder, or to a simple silk headband for a truly individual look.
  • Swarovski Crystals never seem to go out of fashion because of their amazing sparkle. Choose jewellery incorporating genuine Swarovski crystals, as cheaper stones just don’t have the dazzle-factor.
  • Not a slave to fashion? Got your own unique style? Speak to your jewellery designer and ask them to create something bespoke for your personality.
