Bridal Hats and Headpieces
As hats and headpieces are becoming more and more popular in the world of fashion they are also fast becoming the must have bridal fashion accessory. Brides are opting for cocktail hats and birdcage veils as an alternative to the traditional tiara and veil, and deciding to make more of an individual statement on their wedding day.

They are normally made by a milliner, so there is so much scope to make something completely bespoke and even incorporate some of your dress material in the design. You can choose from lace or feathers, silk or sinamay, beads, pearls or beautiful vintage trims. You can also choose something that suits your hair style and the shape of your face whilst still complimenting the style of your dress.

We recommend trying to choose a piece with a detachable birdcage veil so that you can remove the veiling after the ceremony, this will mean that you can wear your headpiece from morning to night and that the veiling won’t get in the way when you are eating your wedding breakfast! We also recommend choosing your headpiece early so that your hair and makeup stylist can have the opportunity to work out how to style your hair.
