After a number of years working directly for venues as an events coordinator,  I decided to utilise the skills I gained to establish my own company to focus solely on providing a premier service for Bridal couples which would not only meet, but exceed their expectations. In 2005 I founded Essentially You.

In my first year as an independent consultant I gained recognition for my skills by receiving a highly commended finalist at the Wedding Industry 2008 awards.

2008/9 saw the company build upon its growing reputation resulting in being voted UK Wedding Planner of the year 2009.

The award is made more prestigious as it is decided by a public vote based on the quality of the service offered and provided to clients.

In 2009/10 I have have maintained our standards of service and, as a result, have won this accolade for the second year in succession by being named Wedding Planner of the year for 2010.
