Top Wedding Hair and Make-Up Tips

Here are my top tips for your hair and make-up on your wedding day.

MAKE-UP

  1. Make sure your make-up artist uses primer under your foundation, this will help your make-up last all day.
  2. Make sure your bridal party are armed with blotting papers.
  3. Ask your bridesmaids to check your T-zone for shiny areas.
  4. Ask your make-up artist which lipstick they are using and buy some to top up with on the day.
  5. Be careful of lip gloss and veils, the two together are not a good look.

HAIR

  1. Make sure if you are wearing a veil that it feels secure before you walk down the aisle.
  2. Any hair adornments should feel comfortable and not move; do a shake test.
  3. Make sure you tell your hairdresser if any of the pins are pulling your hair as this will be very uncomfortable for you.
  4. Make sure your hairdresser has left some pins for any frantic dance moves that threaten to let your hair fall down.
  5. Ensure your maids know how to take your veil off and de-fluff your hair.

Finally after all of those tips, enjoy looking fabulous!
