Wedding Hair Styles - What's on Trend?

Wedding hair style trends are making a break from tradition. Just as weddings have for some become bespoke and unique to the couple, hair styles are becoming more bespoke to the bride.

The styles that are most popular are asymmetric dishevelled buns with a beautiful accessory. Many brides are taking inspiration from The Oscars; with actors such as Kate Winslet being one of the favourite beauties to be inspired by.

Veils are becoming less popular and making way for fun accessories such as bird cage veils or a jewelled headband with the sparkle sitting on one side and the hair on the other. When the hair is in a more relaxed and natural style, often a veil on top can rub the hair and make it a little ruffled. The other factor to consider with asymmetry is that the veil has to be placed centrally often making the style look a little unbalanced.

Classic hair however will always be popular with brides reverting to icons such as Grace Kelly and Bridget Bardot for inspiration, so if you are still yearning for a traditional veil there are lots of options to go for.

Experiment and have fun!
