Bridal Skin and Hair Care Advice For Your Wedding Day

Here are some hints and tips on how to keep your skin glowing and your hair glossy on your wedding day.

HAIR CONDITION
The condition of your hair is very important, whether you need some extra length for your desired style or you are planning just to keep the length you have.

If you need some extra length for your desired style I would recommend you allow yourself 8 weeks interval instead of the normal 6 week for a cut.

Feed your hair. You can take herbal supplements called sea kelp to promote growth, strength and shine and don't forget to have regular conditioning treatments to quench those ends. This can be in a salon or at home, your budget will determine this.

COLOUR
I would suggest if you have highlights you should book an appointment for two weeks prior to the wedding date and make appointments working backwards from this date. Highlights often need a couple of weeks to settle and look a little more natural.

If you need to cover those natural highlights (greys) I would suggest booking in the week before the wedding, as again when you have just had your colour done it can be a little unnatural or dark looking. One week before the wedding will allow the colour to fade a little which will be more flattering to your skin tone.

SKIN CARE
The rules of skin care are simple! Lots of water and rest are the most natural and basic requirements for that healthy dewy glow.

Regular exfoliation is a great way of removing dead skin cells and allowing that glow to appear.

You should invest in regular facials and you can even have bespoke facials depending on your skin. I would highly recommend Liz Earle for this bespoke service.
