Dream Wedding Destinations - Malta

Enjoy a relaxed wedding in Malta's ideal climate and romantic scenic surroundings!

The cultural historic backdrop of the Maltese islands complements the timelessness of a serene marriage celebration and sumptuous reception, very much like a natural active film set, which captures and seals memories for ages to come.

Malta is an ideal destination both for those who wish to have a church wedding and those who would like a civil ceremony.  Civil weddings in Malta can take place in several restaurant venues as well as exclusive villa locations.

The 'Leonardo' in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk with sea views, and the 16th Century hunting lodge 'Rogantino' inland, are only two of a number of restaurant venues available for the civil marriage ceremony and reception celebration.

Other exclusive villa venues include 'Il-Cortile' in the town of Naxxar and 'Palazzo Capua' in the town of Sliema, and these are ideal for small, medium and large wedding parties.

There are also a multitude of unique churches on offer to couples interested in a church wedding, with respect to Catholic and ecumenical churches. Two examples are the St. Barbara Church and the St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral in the capital city of Valletta, which are very popular amongst British couples.

All in all, Malta is the best possible choice for the discerning couple who wish to marry in a historic English-speaking milieu, where their previous happily transpired experiences as an engaged couple culminate in a meaningful betrothal, carved in stone in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
