A Lily of the Valley Inspired Wedding Theme
It may be hard to believe given all the snow and rain we’ve had in recent weeks, but if you look closely you’ll see spring is in the air. Those tightly packed crocus and daffodil bulbs are starting to stir and trees are beginning to bud!
This concept takes elements from a glorious (if expensive) spring bloom, the Lily of the Valley, with a fresh, clean combination of sage and celadon green with shades of cream and white. Totally timeless.
Make the most of spring flowers, not only are they in season and easily grown in the UK, but if you choose scented blooms such as white narcissus and hyacinth they’ll make a real impact and add depth to your displays.
Pick up on the latest trend for your bridesmaids and dress them each in a different cut of dress in varying tones of green-they’ll thank you for allowing them to show their individuality.
Make use of soft, feminine fabrics on your tables using cream lace overlays or perhaps tying your napkins or cutlery with green velvet ribbon.
However you chose to go about it, just remember to keep it soft, fresh and elegant.
