Should You Consult the Groom on Your Wedding Hair and Make-up?

Do you consider your fiancé when deciding on wedding hair and make-up?

I think this is a great question. There are so many levels to it. Obviously you want to look and feel your absolute best, exuding your inner and outer beauty, but does your significant other affect this choice?

If you rewind to that first fateful meeting you will remember that he loved the whole package that he first saw and he had no control over that!  I think you have to strike a balance between being you and knowing what will win the brownie points and draw some of those elements together.  For example, my hubby to be said 'I love it when your hair is all iggily', code for ‘I love your curls’ - hilarious!

Once you have de-coded your man, use the elements that he loves, but find a look that you ultimately love. It may be that he loves it when your hair is down and he can feel it or when your hair is up and suddenly your neck becomes a kissable area.

Make-up is an area you will know more about. If you are a natural girl, stick to that and go for flawless, amazing skin. If you are not afraid of loving make-up, then enjoy trying extra lashes or beautiful berry lips, after all he is used to your sense of adventure if you already love make-up.

Did you consider your husband-to-be when you were trying on dresses?  I am sure you did to begin with, but ultimately you may have found a dress you never imagined and once you tried on you had to have.

The same rule applies to choosing your hair and make-up, consider him a little and consider how you feel a lot!

I like to think of this dilemma like I think of cakes. A pinch of this and a pinch of that and hey presto, a gorgeous outcome!
