2017 Wedding Styling Trend Predictions
If you're getting married in 2017 you may want an idea of what the top styling trends are going to be. With this in mind, here are my top 2017 wedding styling trend predictions.
Colourful Wedding Tables
Colour is going to be big and bold in 2017 wedding styling. Be brave and use coloured tablecloths and linens instead of the standard white to really make an impact. Colourful tables are particularly striking in marquee weddings as they stand out perfectly against the white walls.
Mix and Match Wedding Chairs
2017 wedding styling is going to be all about mixing contemporary with traditional. Mixing different chair styles can really complement your theme. We love see-through Ghost Chairs mixed with Limewash Chiavari Chairs for a soft, yet chic effect.
Different Shaped Wedding Tables
Mix table shapes at your reception, such as square and round tables, for an interesting contrast. A lot of couples will be opting for either a wide oblong or oval shaped central top table to stand out from the guest tables.
As festival and vintage style weddings are set to be popular again in 2017, the use of benches will feature heavily. As benches are versatile you can dress them to suit your wedding theme.
Use benches with long trestle tables, adding cushions and throws for comfort. Benches are great for using in different parts of your day. You can use them in the ceremony and reception, through to the evening celebrations and chill-out areas.
Winding Wedding Ceremony Aisles
Create some fun at your ceremony with a winding aisle rather than a straight-line aisle. This will create a quirky look and get guests talking before you enter. Use benches rather than chairs to get a distinctive winding effect.
The use of metallics in autumn/winter 2016 will carry through to 2017 wedding styling. Combine copper, silver and gold details together with crisp whites and creams for a clean, contemporary look.
Making greenery look as if it is growing naturally out of the ground will be a popular look for 2017 wedding styling. We are going to see lots of green and white foliage displays made up from ferns, wild roses, mosses and other greenery.
Make up large features of greenery and place them on the floor. Then, surround them with some bark or even soil to make them look as if they are growing there naturally.
